Weird feeling
Got a bunch of phone calls from different numbers and when I finally manged to answer one it turned sour quick. Truthfully, I was already a little skeptical of the company from doing my own research on it. My own experience validated those concerns.
The phone call started off well and the person I spoke to was polite and asnwered any questions I had. But when they asked me to pay 350 USD upfront for an “evaluation” it started to seem sketchy. I said I needed more time to think about this, but I felt extremely pressured. Thankfully I did not give them a dime and I won’t be using the service of UIS Canada in the future.

After filling out my details online, I received a callback within 24 hours and was able to discuss my eligibility for one or more visas. I had a lengthy conversation with the account manager, who gave me the impression that I’d be very much supported throughout my visa application journey with UIS. However, I wasn’t yet ready to commit as I’m still undecided and was told to make a new application once I’m sure, I’d like to go ahead with payment for their fees. The account manager was very easy to talk to, and I believe I’ll reach out to UIS when I decide to go ahead.
