SCAM service!!
SCAM service!!
They quoted a price and ended up charging my bank account for way more money and claimed to be ‘extra fees’.
They then proceeded to put in the wrong information in the visa application and I told them 3 weeks consecutively that the information is wrong but they did nothing! I did NOT get any visa and they still refused to refund my money when they know they submitted the wrong information. I ended up applying by myself and i got the visa instantly. SHAME ON THEM! DO NOT USE THEM.

A travel agent recommended VisaCentral…
A travel agent recommended VisaCentral to obtain our China Visas to travel to visit our 24 year old son in China. He’s an English Teacher there and my husband and I would like to see him before his 25th birthday. We started the application on July 30th, 2024 and today August 29th, 2024, I’ve been on hold for 1 hr and 37 minutes to ask for an update. VisaCentral did not inform us that my husband’s name was entered incorrectly by THEIR staff in the Chinese Visa Application they submitted 3 weeks ago. I tried several times to get this issue resolved since the person assigned to our applications sent an email requesting a “new application.” We were not able to enter a new application in their system because everything was submitted correctly in our part. Our tickets and hotels were booked to leave 5 days from today and we don’t have our passports back. I had to write this review to help other parents trying to visit their children overseas to avoid using this company. They lack customer service and there is no one responsible for their incompetency.

Don’t deliver on promises and you lose money – AVOID!
CIBT Visas (or Visa Central as they are now known) go to great length to assure you that they can get you a passport in your hands within 6 working days. Well….they can’t! This company does nothing more that what you can do yourself and can’t jump queues or anything of the sort.
I send my application off (at a cost of £22 by Special Delivery 9am) only to receive a call to say they can’t get an appointment with the Passport Office so can’t meet the 6 working day promise. So it seems, the high costs are mainly for someone to attend a passport office meeting on your behalf, so if there are no appointments they can’t meet their promises.
To rub salt in the wound, I was charged a further profiteering £18 for them to send me back my passport by Special Delivery. It’s an absolute disgrace! I’ve incurred costs of £40 for NOTHING, all directly caused by this company. And to make matters worse, they are still advertising that they can get passports with 6 working days so many others will now fall foul of this scam. I would would strongly suggest you avoid this company.

Please be aware that this is a scam…
Please be aware that this is a scam site – it looks as though it is affiliated with Singapore Airlines but when I checked they knew nothing of this visa website.
I am not sure if there is a VisaCentral legitimate site but the one with a Singapore Airline logo is definitely fake.

Scam site
Scam site, beware
Below are the analyze and conclusion of us about above reviews
The provided reviews for VisaCentral paint a concerning picture. Let’s analyze each one:
Review 1 (Hillary Kui): This review is highly negative, describing VisaCentral as a “SCAM service.” The user claims they were overcharged with undisclosed “extra fees” and that VisaCentral submitted incorrect information on their visa application, which they repeatedly tried to correct with no success. The user ultimately had to apply for the visa independently and succeeded, further solidifying their negative experience. The refusal to refund despite admitting fault is a serious red flag. The strong language (“SHAME ON THEM! DO NOT USE THEM”) suggests genuine frustration and a significant negative experience. This review raises concerns about transparency, accuracy, and customer service.
Review 2 (Anabel Krott): This review details a frustrating experience attempting to obtain China visas. The user mentions being recommended VisaCentral by a travel agent, but this doesn’t automatically validate the service. The core issue revolves around an error made *by VisaCentral* when entering the husband’s name on the application, leading to delays. The significant hold time (1 hour and 37 minutes) waiting for an update, inability to correct the error within the system, and the risk of missing travel dates due to VisaCentral’s error paint a picture of poor communication, incompetence, and inadequate customer service. This account suggests a lack of quality control and a failure to take responsibility for their errors.
Review 3 (Terry): This review focuses on passport services and criticizes VisaCentral (formerly CIBT Visas) for failing to deliver on their promised 6-day turnaround time. The user argues that VisaCentral doesn’t offer any advantages over applying independently and cannot expedite the process. The user incurred costs for special delivery, only to be told no appointment was available, and was then charged an additional fee to have their passport returned. The feeling of being charged for “NOTHING” and the accusation of “profiteering” highlight a negative perception of the company’s value and pricing practices. The user’s conclusion to “avoid this company” is a strong indicator of dissatisfaction.
Review 4 (Louise Nicholson): This review raises a serious concern about potential phishing or fake websites. The user explicitly calls the site a “scam site” and claims it falsely presents itself as affiliated with Singapore Airlines. The assertion that Singapore Airlines knows nothing of the website is a significant red flag, indicating potential identity theft or fraudulent activity. The warning to be aware of the scam and the uncertainty about the existence of a legitimate VisaCentral site indicates a severe trust issue.
Review 5 (customer): This is a very brief review, simply stating “Scam site, beware.” While short, it reinforces the negative sentiment present in the other reviews. The lack of detail makes it less impactful on its own, but it contributes to the overall pattern of complaints.
visacentral.co.uk likely a scam
