Car rental coverage
I recently had a minor accident and needed to file a claim with my RBC Avion Visa Infinite card. I had a positive experience with the claim process through AVIVA.
The claim process was surprisingly straightforward. I contacted AVIVA, and they guided me through the necessary steps. The entire process was efficient, and I appreciated the lack of unnecessary hassle. I was assigned a friendly and dedicated adjuster who kept me informed throughout the process. They were super responsive to my enquiries, and I appreciated the clear communication.
What impressed me most was the zero deductible on the repair cost. Plus, the card covers 80% of the Loss of Use charge, a significant benefit.
One thing to note is that it took six weeks for the rental company to send the bill and claim documents for the completed repair. But don’t worry, AVIVA handled the claim efficiently.
I’m delighted with the claim experience through AVIVA. The RBC Avion Visa Infinite card has exceeded my expectations, and I feel confident in the coverage it provides.
Additional Tips: I almost forgot to take photos of the damage.

Infinite Card is a bad choice! Get AMEX!
Adequate as a transaction card yet very disappointing in terms of the credibility of its promotions for this top tier card. Frankly, they don’t really care and it all seems like a hoax!! I have complained to the issuing Bank and they just shrug it off.
I am switching to Mastercard and Amex. VISA should be ashamed!

Review 1: Anthony Yuen
This review appears to be genuine and positive, detailing a satisfactory experience with AVIVA regarding a car rental claim through the RBC Avion Visa Infinite card. The reviewer highlights the straightforward claim process, a dedicated adjuster, zero deductible, and coverage of Loss of Use charges. The mention of a six-week delay from the rental company adds a touch of realism, as such delays are common in these situations. The additional tip about taking photos of the damage further enhances the review’s credibility. The level of detail provided, along with the specific benefits mentioned (zero deductible, loss of use coverage), suggests a legitimate customer experience. Overall, this review reads as authentic and provides a positive perspective on the card’s benefits.
Review 2: Deepak Sarup
This review is a negative one, expressing dissatisfaction with the Visa Infinite card’s promotions and credibility. The reviewer feels that the promotions are a “hoax” and that the issuing bank doesn’t care about complaints. They are switching to Mastercard and Amex, indicating a high level of frustration. While negative reviews can be legitimate, this one is somewhat vague. It lacks specific details about the problematic promotions or the nature of the complaints. The generalized statement that “they don’t really care” and the “hoax” accusation could be based on a specific incident, but without more information, it’s hard to assess the full context. It is possible that the reviewer had a genuine negative experience, but the lack of specifics makes it harder to definitively confirm the review’s authenticity.
