DO NOT USE these people
DO NOT USE ! Not a scam as such, as some say BUT – Expensive / no useful communication / you SHALL end up doing the job yourself / we still do not have a visa and now know the visa can be obtained in several places much cheaper and within days.
Martino
It’s a scam – do not use
I am also fallen a victim of this scam. There are no contact details to message anyone and you don’t know the charge until it’s too late and get no visa, It is not right that this can be allowed
Dee Jay
Same as other users
Same as other users. Was double charged for the visa.
mr daryll wallace
Scum
Scum, pretend to be the official govement website in Google search and charge £85 per visa instead of 40dollars.
Don’t use this website..
van der Helm
They charge 3x the normal rate
They charge 3x the normal rate. Besides that the double protection for creditcard payment is not implemented. I made the mistake to press PAY. The amount becomes only visible after pressing PAY. I tried to cancel the payment but unfortunately they credited my card already.
Gareth Cahill
Charge double for a visa
Charge double for a visa. When you pay, they don’t quote the price. Cheaper going through government website to get visa. Sidenote: I can see similar reviews going back to over a year….how is this website still allowed to continue? Is there zero regulations?
Below are the analyze and conclusion of us about above reviews
The reviews for srilankavisas.net paint a concerning picture. The recurring theme is significant overcharging for visa services, often two or three times the official government rate. Many users report a lack of transparency in pricing, with the full amount only revealed after clicking “pay.” This tactic is a common red flag for deceptive practices. Several reviewers highlight the difficulty in contacting the company or canceling payments once initiated.
Brian Rudd’s review indicates dissatisfaction not just with the price, but also with the lack of communication and the need to complete the visa process independently. While they don’t explicitly label it a scam, they emphasize the high cost and ineffectiveness of the service, suggesting that users can obtain visas cheaper and faster elsewhere. This undermines the value proposition of the website.
Martino directly accuses the site of being a scam, highlighting the absence of contact details and the lack of price disclosure until it’s “too late.” This user also states that they did not get the visa, emphasizing the potential for financial loss without receiving the promised service, which is a major indicator of fraudulent activity.
Dee Jay’s experience echoes the complaint of overcharging, specifically mentioning being “double charged.” This consistency across multiple reviews strengthens the concern about the website’s pricing practices and the potential for hidden or unexpected fees.
Mr. Daryll Wallace points out that the website mimics an official government site in search results, leading users to believe they are dealing directly with the government. This is a deceptive tactic often used by scam websites to mislead users and inflate their prices. Charging £85 instead of $40 further highlights the significant markup.
Van der Helm’s review provides further detail on the payment process, stating that the amount is only visible after clicking “PAY” and that attempts to cancel the payment were unsuccessful. The user also mentions a lack of proper credit card protection. This suggests a deliberate design to prevent users from realizing the exorbitant cost until it’s too late and that the company is fast to take the money.
Gareth Cahill reinforces the theme of double charging and advises going through the government website for a cheaper visa. The user also raises concerns about the website’s continued operation despite numerous similar negative reviews over a long period, questioning the lack of regulation. This longevity, despite negative feedback, amplifies the credibility issue of the site.
srilankavisas.net likely a scam
