Success applying for Paraguayan temporary residency
Thanks to Nomad Elite I just applied for my temporary residency in Paraguay and got my precarious residency card a few hours ago. My husband and I hadn’t really given Paraguayan residency a lot of thought before we decided I needed it and having a consultation with Gerald really helped figure out the requirements and what we could expect. Gerald is an experienced expat himself and he knows everything there is to know about the process.
I was not in my home country when I started the process because of that there was a significant setback when my criminal background check took longer to get to Paraguay, still Nomad Elite consulted me all the way and Jessica even called the Paraguayan post to locate my package. After that everything went smoothly: Mauricio took me to get local police certificates on one day and then when Nomad Elite had all the necessary documents, I was notified that we could go to the Immigration office and apply for my temporary residency! It was a long wait in line (nothing you can do, depends on the day you go) but afterwards everything was very easy because all the documents were in order and thoroughly prepared by Jessica. The process at the window took less than ten minutes, which I don’t think I could achieve on my own.
I recommend Nomad Elite if you want a stress-free thorough preparation that helps you feel confident by the time you make it to that window and submit your documents. Their prices are also great, all the fees are included and it’s a much better deal than some other companies out there that will charge you only for their services and then you still need to pay more legal fees. Oh, and Jessica also picked us up at the airport at 5:30 am! Such a nice gesture that really shows that when you hire Nomad Elite, you will always be their priority!

Overdelivered would be an understatement
I had the pleasure of working with the Nomad Elite team in Paraguay. As the title suggests, everything was taken care of at all times. From the onboarding and the first meetings to the support in planning the first trip to Asuncion and the entire stay on site. I was picked up at the airport for every appointment and dropped off wherever I wanted afterwards. The team was always available and on site at all appointments to provide the best possible support. They were also very considerate of individual needs and wishes. Thanks to the team, I couldn’t have imagined a better first impression of Asuncion. Even after the appointments, I had the opportunity to get to know the team better over dinner and while exploring the city. Even if you don’t speak enough Spanish, you can have wonderful experiences in Asuncion. The weather is almost always sunny and warm. The people are extremely helpful and I can’t think of anything you would miss in Paraguay. I can only warmly recommend everyone to come to Asuncion and see for themselves.

Typically, I don’t write reviews unless the quality of an item, sevice, or experience was truly exceptional. Nomad Elite provided just that, an exceptional service and an enjoyable experience far beyond what I expected!
After doing a great deal of research on my own regarding Paraguay, I began speaking with several agencies claiming to specialize in residency and relocation assistance. One consistent theme appeared to be a lack of informational depth and high fees that covered very little aside from the service.
As I sat, skeptical of the options available to me, I came across Nomad Elite and figured that one more option wouldn’t hurt. Far from it!
In my initial consultation with Gerald, not only was he full of passion for his business, but he also proved extremely knowledgeable and gave insight that only someone with lived experience in the country could give. More importantly, his relatability, compassion, and genuine nature made him stand out among the crowd as human.
Needless to say, I moved forward with Nomad Elite and have had no regrets.
