My experience was very good
My experience was very good, I thoroughly enjoyed my time, it was good. 😌 the place I lived was helpful, it had laundry accessibility and gym and also the pools for the apartment to use. The workplace wasn’t too far where I lived. There was a bus nearby and which costed me $1.75c usd which is $3 nzd for us and it was worth it. The shops nearby for our groceries were good which was Dollar general, Walmart and other shops as well. The training for my job was good, it lasts about 3 weeks before you go on your way at the Front desk. Cafeteria provides your food when you are working it is all free. Other than that, you need to be prepared to have some money to provide for your accommodation before looking for an apartment.

I had contact with Jade, Shelby and Bianca.
Jade helped me so much throughout my visa process. I was extremely last minute with things and she was able to get me over the america early to go and visit my old friends plus get my visa in time for my flights which I couldn’t thank her enough for!
Shelby I spoke to a lot towards the end of my program and she is super sweet! Always checked up on me and even kept in contact after I had come back! Always a pleasure chatting with her.
Bianca I only had a small amount of contact with but I appreciate all the check ups while I was overseas!
Would recommend this to anyone looking at doing some overseas travel as they made everything happen so smoothly 😁

IWH – most amazing travel organization
The IWH the staff are all extremely helpful at every step of the way: from the very beginning when I wanted first information until after my trip when I had arrived home again. They customized my trip to making it a great experience even when I had to reschedule quite some time later as initially planned and I had to choose a different program due to COVID. They were always wonderfully friendly and answered even my most stupid questions with utmost patience. I can highly recommend them and would love to have more trips organized by them!

Amazing Experiences!!
IWH provide life changing oppurtunities. Since 2018, I have worked with them on three occasions. From the beginning they have been super friendly and organised, helping me get the most from my programs.
Jade and Shelby have been my main points of contact, they have always shown a genuine interest and are willing to go above and beyond. They have picked me up from airports, helped with relocating after a hurricane and are always up for a chat.

International Working Holiday (IWH) we’re so helpful with the application process. They made it so easy and the process was straightforward. The communication channels were open, and didn’t take long for them to reply, be it email or phone calls. This was my first work and travel programme so I was quite anxious and had a lot of questions. They were never far away, and answered all the questions I had, which was really reassuring for me. During my programme in U.S.A they kept in contact to check up on me, and were always available if I had questions. Overall my experience with IWH was pleasant, and so too was my placement in U.S.A. I would definitely do another programme with IWH, and would recommend IWH to anyone!

All my dreams came true!!!
One of the biggest things I loved about going through International Working Holidays is not only do they have so many opportunities and projects to choose from, whatever you choose they are there to help you every step of the way. I chose the Big 5 Conservation Research at Welgevonden Reserve and IWH sorted out everything for my trip over to South Africa. For me this was a major help as I have very bad anxiety and the thought of figuring all this out of my own when I’ve only travelled solo once before, scared me more than they actual trip. IWH helped me with me flights, insurance and were more than happy to answer the countless questions I had for them. I felt safe in their hands and trusted that my trip was going to be smooth. I also loved that prior to my trip they checked in on me countless times whether it was with additional information for me or to simply ask how I was feeling about it all. The whole team was incredibly friendly and approachable and I would hands down go with them again for another project. I would also highly recommend them if it’s your first time going overseas by yourself, or if your not the most confident at organising all those pesky details and documents that come with travel, just as I am.
I had the best time going to Welgevonden and it wouldn’t have been possible without their help. Doing conservation on endangered species had been a dream on mine since I was a child so thank you International Working Holidays for making this dream of mine possible. Tēnā koutou katou! Nga mihi.

The girls have always been so quick to communicate and provide me with any information or assistance needed.
