Helpful and Knowledgeable
Roy was able to answer every single one of my questions, no matter what kind and how relevant it might’ve been, and he has helped me move one step closer to realizing a possible immigration into Canada!

It was a great experience
I talked with Richard Brad from Great North Visa, I believe. He was easy to speak with; he had a really friendly tone.

Fraud/scam
Fraud/scam.
Requested a refund back in 2022 and was advised against it by one of their employees- told me they can freeze my account until I am happy to proceed but they cannot refund me. Recently reached out asking about the refund and I keep receiving the same email. My case is not eligible for refund as per section12.4 of the terms of use.
The newest excuse: “Nevertheless, UIS Canada carefully considers and honors some refund requests. Under specific circumstances, e.g.: (a) the applicant has undertaken to provide all the requested documentation and necessary information and (b) no investment of Great North Visa`s manpower hours was dedicated to your file and (c) a short period of time elapsed from the payment and your refund request. ”
FYI- I requested the refund since NO manpower was invested into my case and I believe the refund was requested in a timely manner.
Apparently they try to contact you to resolve the matter but couldn’t reach you, which is a lie cause I never received any notification of a missed call. And they take up to a month to respond on emails.

Complete fraud, silly as we were
Complete fraud, different people with fictional names brought us to pay 8.000 USD, GNV case 50302 and they just collected all the data from us, no step done in the direction of an official application. Silly as we were we just then stopped the process and contacted the police. A Canadian friend living in Vancouver helped us: there is no office at the address in Vancouver, operating with a US-American number should make you be aware that something is going wrong. The address in Gibraltar: check the address by google maps, ridiculous front of a building. The police in Vancouver could not even find a company at the address or surrounding. We got an offer for refund 1/4 of the payments, after discounting a bunch of fictional hours „working“ (check the terms and conditions for their hourly rates, crazy) on our case, ending up with this insane offer. Immigration guys: the Canadian government gives you the advice on their website: the immigration process doesn’t need any assistance, it’s clear and simple and the official authorities will help you wherever needed. So GNV: if you’re so trustful as you say: money back on our bank account would easy.

This company scammed my brother out of…
This company scammed my brother out of thousands of pounds, promising so many different things. What’s worse, is the lack of communication and response after the trauma of losing all the money.
It seems as though they capitalise on people who need guidance when in the end, my brother went about his tourist visa (which then transferred into a working visa) all by himself.
They collected and verified documentation and submitted the application, but other than that, it was all a waiting game to see if any companies wanted to employ my brother. He is a well established healthcare worker that would have many opportunities in any country.
Unfortunately, everytime they did anything or responded to anything, it would cost him hundreds more.
Avoid using, and take the time to do it all yourself or work with your own government to get advice!
If communication and response was offered, maybe there could be a solution/resolve meant but they have ignored him and washed their hands of him

No response to emails despite holding us to ransom to keep working with them.
Their replies in this review, my previous review & my partner’s review is a lie, they stated “ Nonetheless, you are still entitled to receiving the service you purchased now or in the future.”
Yet we have emailed for them to start my partners PR & they have not responded since 1st April when we last emailed them. How can they not refund us but then also not provide the service? Make a decision. How can they say they have not had a response since 30th March when we have our email saved sent to them on 1st April.
Please do not work with this company if you value your money, time or mental wellbeing. repeatedly lie in their responses on trustpilot & should be reprimanded for that as well. They have also tried to make us sign a NDA to not post any negative reviews about them online & have made false accusations of bullying when it can be proven in all our saved correspondence that this not the case. They were also contacted by Better business bureau in relation to our documented concerns & did not respond to them. Now they have made slanderous accusations. Their ‘replies’ below are fraudulent responses. I don’t understand their reasoning for lying as everything is documented so every single thing we have said on here can be proven.
The whole matter could have been dealt with so long ago when we initially asked for a refund or asked them to provide the service for the PR.

An absolute waste of money
An absolute waste of money. They are very quick to send you statements and call you when they need you to pay for something, but after they have their money you can’t get through to them.
I have emailed multiple times and never got any response. When I finally did they referred me to someone new whose email address now no longer exists.
They fill you with hope and paint this picture perfect image and when they have what they want from you, you will never hear from them again.
As a young adult I invested so much hard earned money into this company for a future that they convinced me was within reach, don’t make the same mistake I did.

SCAM- DO NOT USE
Applied for my canadian permanent residency with these people, they were usless. They use scare tactics to get $1000’s from you. Once they have the money, they go AWOL.
Granted, they submitted an application, but it was bogus and submitted at a time they knew canadian boarders were not open yet (which I discovered after talking to a proper immigration lawyer, who advised that I wasted my time and money). The submitted application sat there and expired, since then I have not been able to contact them. All of these issues are before I even get to the lack of communication, assistance, empathy etc.
I’ve since done an application myself, with zero issues and have had my PR approved. Don’t listen to them if they tell you it’s dangerous to do this, because they will say that.
Joe Taylor
Totally incompetent.
Totally incompetent.
Their lack of communication and transparency has been appalling from start to finish. If you’re going for a working holiday visa do yourself a favour and do it yourself rather than spending a small fortune on these frauds.
They have still not replied to my emails despite writing a fake response below acting as though they would respond. They have a complete lack of accountability for one’s mental health and are a dangerous company.

Below are the analyze and conclusion of us about above reviews
The company introduction is purely promotional and doesn’t provide any customer-based assessment. Therefore, it doesn’t contribute to judging the legitimacy of the service but confirms the company’s self-description.
William N’s review is positive, praising Roy for his helpfulness and knowledge. The review feels generic but believable as a genuine positive experience. However, it lacks specifics, making it hard to verify its authenticity fully.
John Carte’s review is very brief and positive, highlighting the friendly tone of Richard Brad. It’s too short to be considered a strong indicator of legitimacy, and could easily be fabricated. The lack of detail makes it less trustworthy.
Jane Bowman’s review is only a title and lacks any content, offering no basis for assessment.
Carma Kritzinger’s review is a strong negative experience, labeling the company a “fraud/scam.” The detailed explanation about the refund request, reference to the terms of use, and accusations of ignored communication raise serious concerns. This review carries significant weight due to its specificity and the accusation of fraudulent practices.
Maik Johannes-Beißel’s review is another strong negative account, claiming “complete fraud.” The reviewer alleges significant financial loss ($8,000 USD), fictional names used by staff, data harvesting without application, and a non-existent office address. The mention of involving the police adds further weight to the accusation of fraudulent activity. The comparison to the Canadian government’s advice on immigration processes further strengthens the negative claim.
Kat Stylianou’s review recounts a negative experience for her brother, claiming he was scammed out of thousands. It details a lack of communication and the feeling of being charged excessively for minimal services. The review suggests the company capitalized on the need for guidance without providing adequate support. The advice to seek government advice instead further undermines the company’s credibility.
Layan Courtois’s review is a highly positive one, praising “Immigration Canada” (confusing, as it should be Great North Visa) and Mr. Melin for clear instructions and communication. The recommendation is strong, but the unclear reference to the company name raises a slight question about its authenticity. It could also be a typo.
joan arnó pujol’s review is positive, stating the company provided resources and facilities to complete the process and offered good communication. While positive, the language used is slightly awkward, which could raise a flag, but not enough to discount it entirely.
Denver Cronau’s review is positive, noting helpful and kind staff during phone and email communications. The reviewer also appreciated free advice. This is a moderately positive review, adding slightly to the positive sentiment.
Kiralee Groom’s review is very positive, thanking UIS Canada (again, referencing a potentially different company or typo) for assistance with the visa application and approval process, and noting great service and communication. The name discrepancy creates some doubt.
Suki’s review is extremely negative, accusing the company of lying, holding them “to ransom,” and refusing to provide services after denying a refund. The reviewer mentions a proposed NDA and false accusations of bullying. The lack of response to the Better Business Bureau complaint strengthens the negative claim, suggesting a pattern of unprofessional conduct.
Tamara’s review is brief but positive, praising the helpful and accommodating employees. While positive, it lacks detail.
Kayla Yates’ review is very positive, describing the company as amazing, helpful, friendly, and patient. The specific mention of Karen adds a personal touch. This reinforces the positive feedback.
Hannah Manos’ review is strongly negative, calling the service a “waste of money.” They claim difficulty getting in touch after payment, receiving no responses to emails, and being referred to a non-existent contact. The emotional impact is emphasized, detailing a significant financial investment and dashed hopes.
JB’s review is highly negative, labeling the company a “SCAM.” The reviewer claims the company used scare tactics to extract money, submitted a “bogus” application at an inappropriate time, and then became unreachable. The advice to avoid the company and apply independently adds significant weight to the negative claim.
Joe Taylor’s review describes the company as “totally incompetent” and accuses them of a lack of communication and transparency. He labels them “frauds” and advises others to handle their working holiday visa applications independently.
Johanna Alvarez Johanna Alvare’s review is a neutral one, stating that they were contacted by the company and that they seem professional but haven’t started the process yet.
Modise Kakudi’s review is positive, praising Charlie Harris. The review is very short and lacks specifics.
The anonymous review is another positive one, praising Charlie Harris for being polite and helpful. Again, the review is very short and lacks specifics.
Sarah Kimber’s review is positive, praising accessible agents. It’s a brief positive comment that doesn’t add much weight either way.
greatnorthvisa.com: Likely a SCAM
