Hope someday indians in portugal recieve good service from this emabasy
Indian government is silent on this embassy and these people in embassy are literally stealing indians in portugal. Imagine you need a police clearance certificate and they send police to indian home address for verification. what kind of joke is that it takes almost 30 days ,meanwhile all indian embassies in europe give Pcc on same day but these guys are selling the slots for every service they are doing. You want to renew passport here ? its another slow and painful process. all in all they dont care about indians , they are here to make money and loot indians in portugal. their google maps reviews say alot of what they are doing and how they are treating indians. They wont even lift their calls or reply to emails.
Below are the analyze and conclusion of us about above reviews
Review 1: Dhriv Pandit
This review from Dhriv Pandit expresses extreme dissatisfaction with the services provided by the Indian embassy in Lisbon (eoilisbon.gov.in). The reviewer alleges that the embassy is inefficient, corrupt, and unresponsive to the needs of Indian citizens in Portugal. Specific complaints include the unreasonably long processing time for a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC), a process that apparently involves sending police to the applicant’s home address in India, which the reviewer deems absurd. The reviewer further claims that the embassy is slow and inefficient in passport renewal processes, accuses them of selling service slots for profit, and ignores phone calls and emails. The reviewer also points to negative Google Maps reviews as evidence of the embassy’s poor treatment of Indian citizens.
The strong language (“stealing indians,” “joke,” “loot indians”), coupled with the specificity of the complaints (PCC process, passport renewal), suggests a genuine, albeit potentially exaggerated, negative experience. The comparison to other Indian embassies in Europe, which supposedly offer same-day PCC services, adds weight to the criticism. The reference to Google Maps reviews implies a pattern of similar complaints from other individuals. While it is impossible to verify the factual accuracy of every claim, the review reads as a firsthand account of frustration and dissatisfaction. The repetition of “indians in portugal” seems deliberate, possibly to emphasize the perceived mistreatment of this particular demographic. Given the intensity and detail, it’s likely based on a real experience, even if some elements are amplified.
www.eoilisbon.gov.in likely legit, but with significant service issues
