AVOID THIS PLACE

AVOID THIS PLACE. All the 5 stars comments are from people that works there, they’re all fake. Visa place is a scam, they will manipulate you to get your money.

My VisaPlace lawyer failed to register…

My VisaPlace lawyer failed to register my children’s application for US immigration under my Visa application. This caused immense complications at the US border and now they have the incorrect visa status in their passports. Visa place has failed to accept responsibility and they are overpriced. I paid separate fees application fees for my children, and they do not have accurate pricing records for my payment and our falsely claiming that I paid less for my children’s visa application. They are unprofessional, Yoon accountable to their clients and negligent.

Terrible place! DO NOT USE!!

Terrible place. They steal your money only to change who your team is about 6 times in two months, give you false advertising, and ruin your whole file. Then submit nothing to the government.

Lose all hope of entering the United States…

My experience is similar to those above. Visa Place took my money, extracted every last bit of personal information from me, promised to submit my application for a US waiver visa, forecast a positive result, then did nothing for ten months. After two follow-up emails and a phone call from me, they called back to say that my application had not been submitted to the US authorities. I’m 89 years old and have lost hope that I’ll ever get my visa. I’m left wondering what they do with all their clients’ valuable personal information.

They buy all their reviews

They buy all their reviews, not a real company, they just take your deposit and ignore you for months. Stole my $4000 and will be applying for a chargeback.

Shockingly unprofessional, understaffed and just want your money up front.

Same as many other reviews below – Totally unprofessional, unresponsive and lack of empathy. They will promise the earth to take your money then you end up chasing and chasing, missing deadlines and being thoroughly disappointed. Whatever they say, please ignore for your own sanity for a VISA application and go elsewhere. I have never met as disorganised, understaffed, unprofessional outfit. And then asking them for some money back for lack of service or massive delays is like getting blood from a stone.

Not professional, not well organized, do not trust

– hired one time in 2023 with the advisor service => they failed to spot a complication in my documentation (criminal record for my time abroad in China). It took weeks and a feedback from IRCC to figure out what is exactly needed.

– Hired a 2nd time, as they promised to do better. I paid an additional fee for them to be my representative. It has been a huge disappointment: The team changed, team members were overloaded and overwhelmed, I spotted several mistakes in the submission they asked me to check… and finally, we failed again exactly on the topic of criminal records in China.

– At this point, they try to arrange a meeting to see what can be done but are not even able to show up at the announced meeting time.

… all the way along the 2nd submission, I sent feedback to the lawyer asking for a more careful check. They did not react. Hence, I spent a lot of money and up to 250 hours for nothing.

This company is possibly not a scam, they might do a decent job on easy cases, but do not trust them if a real competency and some agility is needed.

Absoultely a scheme

Absoultely a scheme and charged me $2000.00 for nothing…… I’m not sure how a company will continue to grow with horrible reviews but I’ve lived long enough to know you REAP what you SOW.

I’ve had a positive experience with…

I’ve had a positive experience with VisaPlace so far based on the consultation I did with team. I’m still in the beginning stages of the US immigration process and the consultation with Fadi really helped for me to understand what the options are and my eligibility.

Do Not Use

Since August of 2023, we have been in contact with this company and paid an expedited fee. Application was completed, fees were paid. After the initial contact, the company required additional documentation that was not in the original request. We provided that information too. Emails are responded to without providing a status update. Email messages continue to request additional information even though the information has already been provided. There is never a follow up phone call to discuss. We have called and only have only spoken to a receptionist. The call gets a transferred and we are only able to leave a voicemail. The only live person we speak to is the receptionist. No one from this company returns a phone call.

Based on our experience this company took our money and private/sensitive information. At the initial contact, a zoom call was conducted. After the fee was paid and documents provided no one has returned our inquiries. To date we have not heard from this company to provide us with an update for a visa. I would strongly recommend not to use this company

I engaged Visaplace’s services with the…

I engaged Visaplace’s services with the hope of a smooth and efficient immigration process, but unfortunately faced numerous challenges. I experienced multiple disruptions and inconsistent consultations, leaving me feeling uncertain about the progress. While I am aware that COVID-19 has caused substantial delays, the prolonged lack of progress post-pandemic was disheartening.

More importantly, I encountered racist microaggressions from a legal associate. Although I reported this disturbing behavior, the only action taken was to remove this individual from our communications, with no formal apology or acknowledgment provided.

Given the unaddressed distress and lack of progress, I sought assistance elsewhere and secured effective services from an independent consultant on Upwork, at a third of Visaplace’s cost, who successfully expedited my process.

In light of the aforementioned concerns, I request a thorough review of my case and a prompt refund for the subpar and distressing services received. I had anticipated a higher standard of professionalism and respect from Visaplace and believe potential clients deserve transparency regarding the quality of service they can expect.

Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter. I hope for a resolution that duly acknowledges and rectifies the experienced inconvenience and distress.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH VISA PLACE

After deciding to go with Visa Place and making the payment to them. They have ghosted me. I provided them every single thing they asked of me in a timely manor and was assured I was going to get into Candia no problem. I get to the Canadian boarder and was not able to get in because the Visa Place did not file any documents. All of my money I spent on the vias place, as well as plane tickets, hotels, rental cars, my entire vacation was gone because the VISA PLACE DID NOT DO THERE JOB that I paid them to do. Since that time I have spent over a MONTH trying to get a hold of my “legal team” with no luck. The receptionist Kaye Coscoy answers the phone puts me on hold for a while to reach my “legal team” and then comes back and says no one is available at this time but will return your call by the end of today. She has also said to reply to her email to schedule a time to have a phone call with my “legal team”. I have sent the email several times with no response back. I have called over a dozen times with no call back. They took my money and then stopped replying to me. This company is a scam. Do not waste your time and money with this company. At this point I will start to take legal action to get this resolved. We were also told that Diana Trujillo and Reena Sandhu who were apart of our “legal team” are no longer with the company. SO we started working with Mayte Crespo in hopes we would get this resolved and spoke with her 1 time and was assured she would take care of it and has also left me in the dark, doesn’t return calls, or emails either. If I could leave no stars I would. VISA PLACE IS THE WORST COMPANY TO HIRE!!!

Improving

After posting my review we did get an excellent and very helpful interview prep with our VisaPlace lawyer, Avalon Paul. She chose compassion even though she knew we were upset, and her advice gave us the confidence we needed to get my fiancée through the interview successfully. I’m happy to say she’s finally coming home!

Then today I talked with Fadi Minawi about our experience and he too listened with compassion. He explained some of the challenges they faced during Covid-19 without making excuses. And he assured me that VisaPlace aspires to do better. Perhaps my experience was a fluke and things are getting better. There are still problems, and I’m leaving my intact original review below for historical reasons. I’m also upgrading from one to three stars because of their compassionate handling of our situation.

———— original review below ————
It’s really hard to express how many things have gone wrong with our experience with VisaPlace. Initially, our conversation with Frank answered all our questions and helped us feel confident in the process. I cannot think of a single positive interaction since then. It took three months for VisaPlace to produce our initial packet to USCIS. When they did, they never sent us the cover letter that they wrote for us, to ensure our approval. Fourteen months later, after asking for a copy multiple times, we found that they had gotten my fianceé’s birth month wrong. When confronted with the error their office said it really wasn’t a problem since the USCIS had our passports. They took no responsibility. Whenever we write them, we immediately get automated replies from each person promising one to two day responses. Typically we do not receive human responses without several more requests. When we received our NVC number, our VisaPlace lawyer advised us that it would be another year before we got our consular appointment. This was very demoralizing and also quite wrong. It took about a month. If the lawyer had been informed about the actual timeframes in India or what was happening with numerous other cases, she would not have given us this discouraging advice. As I write this, I have been waiting 20 minutes for our lawyer to show up for the interview preparation they scheduled with us. Maybe she will show?

Suffice it to say that we have found VisaPlace a net negative. Just about every interaction has been frustrating. What they have provided (filling out forms) we could have done for ourselves easily just receiving guidance from Facebook support groups. I recommend to people to save their money and go elsewhere or do it themselves. Immigration is a frustrating process already. No one needs the added stress of uncaring or incompetent help.
After 10 minutes delay I wrote to ask where our lawyer was. Just now they wrote saying “Unfortunately, something came up and the attorney (name redacted) is not available to take the call scheduled for today.” Nice. This perfectly summarizes our experience with VisaPlace: not quite a scam, but certainly not worth the money.

My experience of dealing with them has…

My experience of dealing with them has been pathetic. They charged me money immediately after I opted for their service. Once you sign up with them, they are good until you pay them, after that they’ll be almost liked vanished. It took me to wait for 15 to 20 days for a single question I wanted to ask.. At a point I was so frustrated that I decided to not to pursue my US E2 case through them. No one from visaplace ever followed up with me, they just got their money. I do not recommend their services to anyone.

Stay away from these crooks

Stay away from these crooks. They literally take your money and do nothing.

Then of course, they refuse to give your money back after providing no services.

What do I do now? Take them to court?

Below are the analyze and conclusion of us about above reviews

Review 1 (Aurelia Agel): This review is a harsh condemnation, claiming the company is a scam and that positive reviews are fabricated by employees. It alleges manipulation to extract money. The directness and accusation of fake reviews are strong negative indicators, suggesting a potentially serious issue with the company’s practices and reputation. This review raises a significant red flag.

Review 2 (K K): This review details a specific instance of alleged negligence, where the lawyer failed to register the children’s application correctly. The consequences included complications at the border and incorrect visa statuses. The review further accuses the company of a lack of accountability, inaccurate pricing records, and unprofessional behavior. The level of detail provided, including the specific issue and its ramifications, lends credibility to the complaint and paints a concerning picture of their service.

Review 3 (Belle Coviello): This review is a scathing indictment, accusing the company of stealing money, frequent team changes, false advertising, ruining the file, and ultimately failing to submit anything to the government. The strong language (“Terrible place,” “steal your money”) coupled with the severity of the alleged failures suggests a significant breach of trust and potentially fraudulent activity.

Review 4 (Gary Jessop): This review echoes similar complaints, detailing how the company took money and personal information but failed to submit the visa application. The reviewer expresses disappointment and questions the handling of client data. The reviewer’s age (89 years old) adds an emotional element, highlighting the vulnerability of some clients and the potential impact of the company’s alleged inaction.

Review 5 (Vann Nary): This review expresses frustration over a lack of progress after payment, with the reviewer feeling cheated. The short and simple nature of the complaint underscores a common theme: dissatisfaction with the service received after money has been paid. The waiting period of “more than 2 months” suggests a significant delay.

Review 6 (tim hagborg): This review details issues with responsiveness, high turnover of lawyers, missed deadlines, and incorrect paperwork, resulting in a failed visa application. The financial loss of $5000 and the detailed description of the errors make this a credible and serious complaint. The specific examples of negligence strengthen the review’s negative impact.

Review 7 (Christopher Chan): This review accuses the company of buying reviews and being a fake company that steals deposits and ignores clients. The direct accusation of fraudulent behavior (“They buy all their reviews,” “Stole my $4000”) is a strong indicator of potential scam activity. The reviewer’s intention to apply for a chargeback suggests a clear belief that they have been defrauded.

Review 8 (Danny): This review reinforces the common theme of unprofessionalism, unresponsiveness, and a focus on upfront payment. It aligns with other negative reviews, describing missed deadlines and disappointment. The comparison of getting a refund to “getting blood from a stone” emphasizes the difficulty in resolving issues with the company.

Review 9 (Nathan CONIL): This review provides a detailed account of two failed attempts, highlighting mistakes, team changes, and a lack of attention to detail. While the reviewer acknowledges the company might not be a complete scam, they strongly advise against trusting them for complex cases. The extensive time investment and the repeated failures highlight significant shortcomings in the company’s service.

Review 10 (Anointed Flooring Inc): This review is a straightforward accusation of being a “scheme” after being charged $2000 for no results. The brevity and directness of the complaint reinforce the sentiment of being defrauded.

Review 11 (Trevor P): This is the only positive review. It describes a positive consultation experience and understanding of options, but explicitly states it is in the “beginning stages” of the process. Since the reviewer hasn’t completed the service, it is too early to determine the accuracy of the review.

Review 12 (Maria DeMaria): This review expresses frustration with delayed communication, repeated requests for the same documentation, and a lack of follow-up phone calls. The reviewer also fears that their money and private information were taken with no return. The concerns about security of private information are particularly serious.

Review 13 (Aniruddh Jain): This review details slow progress and racist microaggressions from a legal associate, which the reviewer found distressing and inadequately addressed. It also mentions finding a better and cheaper solution from an independent consultant. The mention of racism is a very serious allegation, and the reviewer’s success with an alternative service further undermines the credibility of VisaPlace.

Review 14 (Stephen B.): This review is another damning account of money taken, no documents filed, and complete lack of communication following payment, costing the reviewer a significant amount of money on a failed trip. The claims of being “ghosted” and the inability to reach the “legal team,” even after multiple attempts, are extremely concerning. The detail of employee names who have allegedly left the company and the threat of legal action further supports the negative assessment.

Review 15 (Glenn): This review is mixed. Initially, it’s extremely negative, describing numerous issues, including incorrect information and poor communication. However, it was updated to reflect a positive interview preparation and compassionate handling of the situation afterward. While the situation was handled well eventually, the initial long time of poor service makes it a negative aspect to overall consideration of the company.

Review 16 (Kashif Rasheed): This review highlights the company’s responsiveness before payment and subsequent lack of communication and follow-up. The reviewer was frustrated and decided to discontinue their services. The long wait times for responses and the lack of follow-up are significant issues.

Review 17 (michael gehron): This review mirrors the experiences of others, calling the company a “total rip off” and stating it is impossible to get money back when nothing is delivered. This reinforces the accusations of fraudulent behavior.

Review 18 (John): This review is a simple and direct accusation of the company taking money and providing no services, with a refusal to issue refunds. The brevity and straightforwardness of the complaint strengthens the negative assessment.
