Camp was the best experience

Really easy to follow steps on how to apply for everything and the outline of payments and expenses is a great tool! Camp itself was a once in a lifetime experience with many challenges and rewards! Would reccomend it to anyone who wants to leane more about themselves and have a summer to remember forever!

Feedback on my camp journey

Incredible customer service, my local person of contact (cameron) for camp america New Zealand was very kind and understanding throughout my journey of making it to camp. Although the process was hard at times, there was always either somebody I could reach out to or instructions guiding me.

Look at other options!

It is extremely expensive compared to other providers – and you do not realise that until you’re in the States. Takes money when you apply, and also takes more than half of your paycheck when you work at camp – for what?! CA also provide very little support in the event of adversity, I felt pretty stranded when applying for my Visa.

Over the moon with this.

We’ve had a great experience with Camp America, after covid hit in 2020, we were fully refunded, and great communication all they way through, this has lead us to going out in 2022, with again continued support and communication from their team. It’s a great experience going to summer camp, definatley recommend.

Camp America Review 2018

My experience with Camp America was really rewarding! Coming out of it I have a ton of friends all over the World, some of which I have already visited and the majority I’m visiting next year.
Camp America was everything that they said and so much more. The process to get to camp is actually fun to do unlike some other applications. You get to make a really cool video of all your best attributes and skills and all the other paper work is made easy and clear by the Camp America staff. I had all my questions answered about the program, application and everything else. They were always able and willing to help which made a big difference. So all the steps leading up to Camp were smooth.
As for being at Camp and afterward, it was a blast! Of course it came with its challenges, as does every adventure. I could ask questions or for help anytime at Camp and they’d be there to answer so lots of support when I was over in the States. Camp America also offered this awesome trip to Cancun Mexico after Camp finished with a bunch of other Kiwi’s who had gone to Camp. It was one of the best trips I’ve ever taken and would do it all over again in a heart beat. They gave us lots of local info that was priceless when we got there. Experience pays off. Going in and out of America was no issue, Camp America gave me simple instruction on how to sort the visa situation out and it was simple and easy.
Camp America dealt with the nitty gritty paper work and ironed out all the little and big issues so that I could have an experience of a lifetime. They are a genuine people for people based organisation who are dedicated to sending you on a good and safe time!

Truly an experience of a lifetime!

100% recommend! The Camp America NZ team are so helpful and friendly and make every single step of the application process so easy. The team work tirelessly to make sure you feel supported and looked after the whole way, even after camp is finished. They go above and beyond to ensure you have the best summer of your life. It is so reassuring to be looked after so well.
Despite being in the middle of a global pandemic, the Camp America team were always there for me and made me feel supported. Thanks to them I spent the summer at a summer camp in California teaching horse riding, making lifelong friends and family and making memories that will be cherished forever. Thank you Camp America NZ for helping me find my home away from home, and having the best summer ever.

Below are the analyze and conclusion of us about above reviews

The first entry is a company introduction, not a review. It serves as a marketing statement and doesn’t provide any independent user feedback. It highlights the program’s size and reach, aiming to attract potential applicants. No credibility assessment is needed here as it’s advertising material.

The review from Katis is overwhelmingly positive, emphasizing the ease of the application process and the rewarding nature of the camp experience. The mention of “challenges and rewards” adds a touch of realism, but overall, it’s a very enthusiastic endorsement. It lacks specific details about negative aspects, which is typical of many positive reviews, making it hard to gauge its complete objectivity, but at face value, it seems genuine.

Monique’s review focuses on the helpfulness and kindness of the staff. The statement that the staff is understanding when things are difficult to grasp indicates a possible situation where a person may be new or need additional guidance. The ability to ask for help and be guided through the steps is a really positive point.

Cole’s review highlights the “incredible customer service” and the support received from a local contact, Cameron. The review addresses a potential pain point – a difficult process – but emphasizes the availability of support and guidance. This suggests that while the process may be challenging, the company provides adequate assistance. This adds credibility, since some processes may be difficult.

Devon Gibson’s review centers on the company’s communication and helpfulness in resolving issues, like booking the wrong dates. The willingness to assist with mistakes and get them “sorted out” shows responsiveness and good customer service. This boosts credibility.

Franchesca S-J’s review echoes the sentiment of an easy process and readily available help. The recommendation to others wanting to “experience American culture” positions the program as a gateway to cultural immersion. This is another positive review that further boosts the brand image, but is a little more generic in what it says. The overall tone is positive.

Ava Page-Wood’s review is brief but positive, focusing on satisfaction with iwh travel and the CA team. It provides minimal details but contributes to the overall positive sentiment. It would be hard to tell from the details whether this review is real.

Riley’s review stands out as the only significantly negative one. The complaint about high costs compared to other providers, coupled with a perceived lack of support during the visa application process, raises serious concerns. The feeling of being “stranded” suggests a significant failure in customer service. This review significantly impacts the overall assessment, pointing to potential issues with transparency regarding costs and support during critical stages of the process. The specific comment about the visa highlights a weakness in service.

Jack Mcloughlin’s review is short and very positive, focusing on helpfulness and communication. The remark about “ensuring you have everything sorted” aligns with other reviews praising the support provided during the application process.

Sarah Balchin’s review notes that the process has been “good and straightforward.” The mention of “info nights” suggests that the company provides educational resources, and the helpfulness of the team with any questions. This is a good point, adding to the company’s support staff. This is a positive contribution.

Jessica Hawken’s review focuses solely on the ease of obtaining the police vet form. While positive, it is very specific and doesn’t offer a broader perspective on the overall experience. It is hard to tell from the details whether this review is real.

Nikau Barbarich’s review is very short and simple, stating that the process was “smooth and easy to use”. While positive, it’s too generic to provide much valuable insight or significantly impact the overall assessment. It is hard to tell from the details whether this review is real.

Melissa Bradley’s review is too short to analyze.

Lauren Williams’s review is too short to analyze.

Mike’s review praises Camp America’s handling of the Covid situation and the resulting refund, indicating good communication and customer service. This level of communication is great. This helps support the credibility.

Rebekah’s review is very short and simple, saying that the company is “so friendly and helpful” and that she “will definitely come back again”. It’s difficult to assess its legitimacy due to the lack of specifics, but it contributes to the overall positive sentiment.

Keegan Prisk’s review highlights the ease of getting everything sorted and the quick responses to questions. The positive remarks about the website’s layout further boost the company’s image. The ease of dealing with the company makes this a positive review.

Jack O’Grady’s review gives a detailed, positive account of their experience with Camp America. It highlights the friendships made, the helpfulness of the staff throughout the application process, and the support provided during and after the camp experience, including a trip to Cancun. It appears as a genuine description of the experience. This review has strong credibility because of how specific the details are.

Jessie Wood’s review is full of praise for the Camp America NZ team, highlighting their helpfulness, friendliness, and dedication to ensuring a great summer experience. This review is very positive.

Jakob Eder’s review reinforces the positive sentiment, praising the friendly and helpful staff, their responsiveness, and transparency during the COVID situation. The overall tone is that Camp America NZ is a reliable and supportive company. The mention of Covid handling is another good sign.

Liam Foster’s review also points out the incredible support that the staff gave during the COVID-19 pandemic. This person claims they will never forget the incredible experience, and this was made possible through the company.
