Extremely Disappointing and Unethical…
Extremely Disappointing and Unethical Experience with BLS International – OCI Application I am writing to document and publicly share my deeply frustrating and disappointing experience with BLS International during my OCI application process, in hopes that others are warned and that action is taken to investigate and reform their exploitative practices.
I submitted my OCI application in October 2024. Despite following the instructions on the official website, I had to make multiple trips due to arbitrary and inconsistent rejections over minor formatting issues — such as the order of my name, the placement of my unit number in the address, or the way the city was written (e.g., Toronto vs. North York). It quickly became clear that these “mistakes” were used as an excuse to push applicants toward their paid VIP and courier services, which staff appeared more enthusiastic to process than regular applications.
From December to January, I repeatedly called, emailed, and sent WhatsApp messages — none of which were acknowledged or answered. In January 2025, I visited the BLS Brampton office around 4:30 PM, just at the close of the collection window (3:00–4:30 PM). Despite my repeated requests and explaining the lack of any communication, I was turned away. Yet, they were more than willing to process a courier service request and take my payment on the spot, even though no progress or urgency was shown in resolving the underlying issue.
I was told I would receive my documents within a week, yet nothing arrived for two months. In May 2025, I visited again in person. I waited in line only to be told they had no record or responsibility for the courier service, shifting the blame to the courier company and offering no resolution or refund.
BLS’s practices are not only inefficient — they border on exploitative and unethical:
They open 15–20 counters in the morning to process applications (and collect fees), but only 5 counters for collection in the afternoon.
The collection window is a narrow 1.5-hour slot (3:00–4:30 PM), with only 15–20 people processed despite hundreds arriving daily.
After collecting your receipt and checking your ID, they routinely make people sit for 20–25 minutes before handing over documents, citing vague “retrieval” delays — clearly meant to frustrate people into paying for courier services.
Their customer support is non-existent. Emails, calls, and WhatsApp messages are ignored. Staff on-site deflect all accountability, blaming an outsourced call center in India.
Almost everyone I met during my visits — including international students, professionals, and families — shared similar or even worse experiences.
I strongly urge:
Media outlets to investigate the shady practices of BLS International.
Regulatory authorities to audit and take legal action where needed.
Legal professionals to help everyday applicants file a class-action lawsuit or formal complaint with immigration oversight bodies or consumer rights commissions.
If anyone can share a step-by-step guide to escalate this legally or through government channels, it would help not just me, but countless others who are being taken advantage of by this broken system.

The worst service ever
The worst service ever, I don’t know why need to be a company in between the applicant and the diplomatic mission?

Criminally Incompetent
This company is criminally incompetent. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a more Kafka-esque circle of directives that lead nowhere and waste as much time (for something as important as visa) ever in my life. Their site is not functional, bookings don’t work, you call and they send you to the wrong office 3 times in a row. When they finally send you to the right office, they simply say no appointments available, call back later and email them. I have sent them at least 3 emails with no response over the last few months. I guess just don’t need a visa for Spain if you live in the cities these crooks “service”? Outsourcing this extremely important service to India actually reflects quite poorly on Spain.

terrible service
is there less than one star, what a terrible service and horrible company.
no customer service, no appointments, no one answers phones.
why is this company in business. any other company should do a better job.

customer care does not care
beside forcing to book a premium appointment, the customer help does not care to pick the phone. I have a screenshot of 25 minutes waiting. It is not logical that for twenty five minutes all agents were doing their job.
All I want to say here, does anyone know who can audit that company? the Spanish embassy does not care, and I could not find any way to complain or audit the quality of BLS international. no to mention they dont have a competitor company where I can seek and forget about that fraud

Myself and my girlfriend are planning…
Myself and my girlfriend are planning to go on holiday. My girlfriend needs a Schengen visa. We have been trying to contact BLS after she had an interview at the end of March. They took her passport and promised to return it. We have had no updates and they have not responded to multiple emails. We have tried to contact by phone many times to no avail. This is particularly frustrating as our planned for holiday is fast approaching.

This is the lamest web service I ever…
This is the lamest web service I ever encountered. The phone number is always switched off, nobody reply to your email, and the online service in the website is null. It is nonsense. I changed my destination to a better country other than Spain. Not spending time in such a lame service. What is BLS stand for? There is one name coming to my mind.
Are you for real? Are you advising me to reach out directly to the support team. I just mentioned that your phone is always switched off and no one reply to the emails. Where do you want me to reach out. Sending a pigeon? Or smoke signals? What kind of communication channels you have in place? This is ridiculous.

Terrible company
Terrible company based in India. Doesn’t answer phones. Website doesn’t work properly. Spain really needs to get a different provider as this company is absolute trash.

Below are the analyze and conclusion of us about above reviews
Analysis of BLS International Reviews:
Company Introduction: This is a self-promotional piece, which is expected, but it should be taken with a grain of salt. It highlights the company’s experience, global reach, and services offered. While it provides information, it doesn’t offer an unbiased view. The claims of “industry benchmarks” and “highest level of data security” should be verified independently.
Review 1 (Chigullapalli Dinesh): This is a very detailed and negative review, describing an extremely frustrating experience with OCI application processing. The reviewer cites arbitrary rejections, pressure to use paid VIP and courier services, non-existent customer support, and long delays. The accusations of exploitative practices and unethical behavior are serious. The level of detail, the timeline of events, and the suggested actions (media investigation, legal action) lend credibility to this review. The consistency of issues mentioned, such as poor communication and pressure to use premium services, is concerning.
Review 2 (Andrés Herrero): This is a brief but negative review. While short, the core complaint that the company is an unnecessary intermediary is relevant.
Review 3 (J S): This review is highly critical, labeling the company as “criminally incompetent.” The reviewer describes a Kafkaesque experience with a dysfunctional website, booking issues, incorrect information from customer service, and a lack of responses to emails. The reviewer expresses frustration with the inefficiency of the visa application process, especially for an important service. The user also said outsourcing this extremely important service to India reflects quite poorly on Spain.
Review 4 (Loay Safar): This review echoes the themes of terrible service, lack of customer support, and difficulty reaching anyone at the company. The simplicity of the review doesn’t detract from the pointed criticism.
Review 5 (M Hussien): This review focuses on the forced booking of premium appointments and the inaccessibility of customer support. The reviewer mentions a 25-minute wait time for customer service and expresses frustration at the lack of avenues for complaint or audit of the company. The reviewer also mentions the lack of competitors in this field.
Review 6 (Sherry): This short review highlights the inability to book appointments in Dubai, causing stress and impacting future plans. The lack of availability and communication is a recurring theme.
Review 7 (Liam Woods): This is a positive review, praising the helpfulness of the reception staff in assisting with visa application forms. It stands in stark contrast to many of the other reviews.
Review 8 (Will): This review expresses frustration about a missing passport and lack of communication regarding a Schengen visa application. The approaching holiday deadline exacerbates the stress caused by the lack of updates and responsiveness.
Review 9 (Varnika Agrawal): A positive review, mentioning good service from the submission office in Delhi and a great experience.
Review 10 (Akshay): A brief positive review commending the honesty and helpfulness of the staff with documentation.
Review 11 (akash kumar): A short positive review stating the BLS staff were helpful and ensured a smooth visa process.
Review 12 (Sakshi Kumari): A very short positive review thanking them and stating they got their visa on time. This lacks any specific detail.
Review 13 (SANJAY KUMAR): A positive review mentioning a great experience with the premium lounge in Delhi and timely visa processing.
Review 14 (Shruti Chatterjee): A short positive review appreciating the amazing services and specifically mentioning Himanshu.
Review 15 (Vivek Gupta): A positive review about a cooperative and helpful staff, making the process stress-free.
Review 16 (GameON): A highly negative review citing a non-functional website, unanswered emails, and a switched-off phone number. The reviewer changed their travel plans due to the poor service.
Review 17 (Thomas Ainscough): This review is concise and critical, describing the company as terrible, based in India, with non-functioning phones and website. It also suggests Spain should find another provider.
Review 18 (Walid): A mixed review. It mentions initial organizational problems but praises the professionalism and helpfulness of a specific staff member, Mrs. Oumaima.
Review 19 (Monalisha Pradhan): This review is positive mentioning that staff was very polite and the process was smooth.
Review 20 (Bhupinder Negi): A positive review highlighting a fast and smooth process at the Delhi center, with specific mention of Shyml Lal’s assistance.
Overall, the reviews present a mixed picture, but the negative reviews are more detailed and express significant concerns about the company’s processes, customer service, and potential for exploitative practices. The positive reviews are often short and lack specific details, which makes them less convincing than the negative ones. The recurring themes of poor communication, difficulty booking appointments, pressure to use premium services, and general inefficiency raise red flags.
