I would strongly advise caution when…

I would strongly advise caution when using this service. It’s been over a month since I submitted my visa application, and I still haven’t received my passport. There have been no proper updates on the status — the website just keeps saying “processing at mission” with no change.

The email replies are super slow and clearly automated, offering no real help. I tried calling the office several times — the first four calls just cut off. On the fifth try, after waiting on hold for 50 minutes, someone finally picked up, only to tell me to contact the Spanish Consulate in Manchester. I tried that too, but their phone line just disconnects after the automated message.

Honestly, the whole experience has been frustrating and disappointing. It’s really worrying when there’s no proper communication or support, especially when your passport is involved.

Horrible experience.

Never in my life have I seen such a poor website which doesn’t work as intended. 2 days in a row me and my wife are attempting to book an appointment and after filling all details every single attempt it either says “something went wrong, try again later” or captcha is invalid regardless it was able to successfully verify it and shows a clear message on the page. If I were the stakeholder, my IT dept would’ve been fired altogether. I wish Spain representatives can see this and put loads of pressure on BLS as they are just wasting money and turning tourists away from their country. Looking for another destination now.

The website is so bad

The website is so bad, it automatically logs me out at intervals. Their engineers need to bring down the website and redesign it with a better user experience.

Bad website which is out of date

Bad website which is out of date. Unclear application requirements with regards to office jurisdiction.
The Spanish government should use another company – BLS international are giving Spain a bad name.

**EDINBURGH OFFICE**
IF YOU ARE APPLYING HERE YOU MUST TAKE PROOF OF ADDRESS to show you live in the jurisdiction of the office ( though they do not specify this anywhere). Even if you live in the right areas they do not accept all proof of address. I have complained to them so that they provide this information and to update their site.

Also agree that it is awful that people should have to book travel in advance of receiving the visa – what is a person to do if their visa is rejected?

The areas covered by the Edinburgh office are: CLEVELAND, CUMBRIA, DARLINGTON, DURHAM, HARTLEPOOL, MIDDLESBROUGH, NORTHERN IRELAND, NORTHUMBERLAND, REDCAR, SCOTLAND, STOCKTON ON TEES, TYNE & WEAR –

Absolutely useless!

If it was possible to give them zero stars I would have done and even that would have been too generous. Multiple verification processes that are simply not required, a web site that you can only access if you are actually physically in the UK when trying to access it (it’s called the WORLD WIDE WEB for a reason) and a customer service team that are next to useless.
How BLS got the contract for processing visas is beyond me, presumably because they were the cheapest option I guess. They are not fit for purpose!

It’s a failure…

The web application’s process is extremely unfriendly. They have unnecessarily used human authentication in almost every step, and still fail to recognise a real-human interaction. When I managed to submit an appointment request after almost 10 attempts, the website rejected my application saying non-human interaction. It’s a shame.

Below are the analyze and conclusion of us about above reviews

Analysis of Company Introduction:
The company-written introduction paints a very rosy picture, highlighting BLS International’s extensive experience, global presence, and partnerships with numerous governments. It emphasizes their technological capabilities and data security. This type of self-promotion is typical of company-generated content. It’s crucial to remember that this information is inherently biased and designed to present the company in the best possible light. While it may contain factual information regarding their services and partnerships, it lacks the objectivity of independent reviews. Therefore, this introduction should be considered marketing material and not a reliable source for determining the company’s actual service quality or reliability.

Analysis of Coco C’s Review:
Coco C’s review expresses significant dissatisfaction with BLS International’s services. The primary complaint is the excessive delay in passport retrieval after visa application submission, coupled with a lack of updates beyond “processing at mission.” The reviewer also criticizes the slow and unhelpful automated email responses, as well as the difficulty in reaching a live person via phone, and the unhelpful instruction after a long waiting period. The inability to get through to the Spanish Consulate exacerbates the frustration. The review highlights a critical breakdown in communication and support, creating a worrying experience for the user regarding their passport security and visa processing. This indicates potential issues with the efficiency and responsiveness of BLS International’s processes.

Analysis of Anton Dubinkin’s Review:
Anton Dubinkin’s review focuses on the poor functionality of the website. The repeated failures to book an appointment, despite correctly entering details and completing the CAPTCHA, are a major point of contention. The reviewer expresses extreme frustration with the “something went wrong” errors and CAPTCHA invalidation issues, leading to the conclusion that the IT department is failing. The reviewer extends this frustration to Spain’s representatives, suggesting that BLS is negatively impacting tourism. This review strongly suggests significant issues with the usability and reliability of the BLS International website, potentially preventing users from accessing necessary services.

Analysis of Abdullahi Azeez’s Review:
Abdullahi Azeez’s review is concise and direct, focusing on the website’s instability and poor user experience. The issue of automatic logouts at intervals suggests a problem with session management or server stability. The call for a complete redesign indicates a fundamental flaw in the website’s architecture and user interface. This review, while brief, corroborates the negative experiences reported by other users concerning the website’s functionality and usability.

Analysis of Dr Nicole’s Review:
Dr. Nicole’s review highlights multiple issues, including an outdated and unclear website, specifically pointing out the lack of information regarding office jurisdiction for application requirements. The reviewer emphasizes the absence of clear instructions regarding required proof of address for the Edinburgh office, even for applicants within the correct jurisdictional area. This suggests a lack of transparency and incomplete information on the website, leading to potential confusion and wasted trips for applicants. The reviewer also criticizes the practice of requiring travel bookings before visa approval, questioning the fairness of the system.

Analysis of Chris B’s Review:
Chris B’s review expresses extreme dissatisfaction with the service, stating that it would warrant zero stars if possible. The reviewer criticizes multiple unnecessary verification processes, website accessibility issues (requiring physical presence in the UK), and an unhelpful customer service team. The reviewer questions how BLS International secured the contract, suggesting it was based on cost rather than quality. This review strongly indicates a poor user experience, highlighting issues with website design, accessibility, and customer support.

Analysis of CYPRIAN ALDRIN PARTHO GOMES’s Review:
CYPRIAN ALDRIN PARTHO GOMES’s review echoes concerns about the website’s user-friendliness. The reviewer specifically points out the excessive use of “human authentication” measures that paradoxically fail to recognize legitimate human interaction. The repeated rejection of appointment requests despite successful CAPTCHA completion indicates a significant flaw in the website’s bot detection or authentication system. This review further reinforces the impression of a poorly designed and frustrating online experience.
