I just payed 168$ more than the official visa price. Looks just like an official government website (.org) Please don’t make the same mistake!

NOT THE OFFICIAL SITE

I hope people get to see the reviews first, even before they can mistakenly book via this site.

This is not the official srilankan immigration site. Fortunately, they’ve bought this domain name which is HIGHLY MISLEADING and perfect strategy for them to make 10 times more money than the actual visa cost.

Please check the official site. This site is NOT the official site.

I mistakenly applied for my Sri Lanka…

I mistakenly applied for my Sri Lanka visa through this fraudulent website, which charged me $80 more than the official government site. They mimic the real application process, making it seem legitimate, but they provide no added value—just an unnecessary surcharge.

After realizing my mistake, I tried contacting them for a refund, but their customer support was unhelpful and unresponsive. This site preys on travelers who don’t notice they’re not on the official page.

If you’re applying for a Sri Lanka visa, ONLY use the official government website

This website is a legitimate scam set up in a way that you can’t do anything

I want to rate srilankaimmigration.org even lower. They duped us and dented us with USD 405 by charging us. My wife simply applied for tourist Visa on Sri Lankan Immigration website for which we received a response from them followed by seconday email from above website with a payment link. My wife misunderstood this and thinking that this is for Visa, she made the payment only later realising that Visa is free for Indian nationals in Sri Lanka. We are not sure how this company got hold of our info and send us the payment link immediately. Worst part is that they issued the visa and are stating that this fees is towards their services that they have provided and are apologising for their miscommunication. However they refused to refund our money. They have showed in the application that they are charging the fee for UAE national meanwhile we are Indians. We have reported this issue to Sri Lankan consulate as well

Scam website

Scam website. the gov.lk website is the official one where you can apply for a Sri Lankan visa. This site charges additional fees for the visa. I’m not sure if you would get the visa but I made the mistake of inquiring about one and since then they have not stopped spamming me with emails and made it impossible to unsubscribe (the supposed “unsubscribe” link in their emails is invalid. Also, when you look at their promotion policy it is empty which is suspicious) so would definitely recommend avoiding them!

Below are the analyze and conclusion of us about above reviews

The first review, by Imondilshan Razook, simply states “this is scam site”. While brief and lacking detail, the direct accusation is a significant red flag. This review provides minimal context, but the negative sentiment is clear. This suggests a poor experience without elaborating on the specifics.

The second review from Marius K reports paying $168 more than the official visa price, highlighting a key characteristic of visa scams: overcharging. Marius points out the deceptive similarity to the official government website (.org) and warns others to avoid the same mistake. This is a more detailed complaint, indicating a financial loss and a belief that the site intentionally mimics an official source to mislead users.

A. R. Sunayana’s review echoes the sentiment that the site is NOT the official site. This review provides a clear narrative of how the scam operates and the resulting frustration.

Ashish Kumar’s review reports a significant loss of $405. The review explains a complicated scenario where the reviewer’s wife received an email and payment link after applying through the official website, leading her to believe this site was also legitimate. Even more concerning is the fact that visa is free for Indian nationals. The site issued the visa and refused a refund, claiming the fee was for their services. The reviewer notes inconsistencies in the application details and has reported the issue to the Sri Lankan consulate. This review presents a complex case of deceptive tactics and a significant financial impact.
