Really bad experience

Really bad experience. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to apply for visa through this service. I paid and went through their extremely volatile application process and got the answer ”Refused” with no clear explanation.

If I could give 0 stars that would be better since it is a sham, a fake and cost my husband over 3500 pounds as he couldn’t travel due to their fake services. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE WHATEVER YOU DO!

CHARGED TWICE FOR VISA APPLICATION FEE

This was a very horrible experience for India is a country I have always wanted to visit and my excitement went out the window. I am faithful in writing reviews for everything. I will write several for this terrible experience. I am traveling to India and I had to apply for a Visitor Visa. The application asked for certain documents of identification both in jpg and pdf. One of my submissions wasn’t clear so my application was rejected. The notice gives a phone number as well as email. I’m at work so I couldn’t make the call so I submitted an emaiI with the application info and i asked how can i re-upload because that option is on the website. I received a response that I had to REAPPLY AND PAY ANOTHER APPLICATION FEE! I wasn’t even given the option to re-upload. So for anyone applying PLEASE submit those documents correctly. This was very unfair and certainly not a good impression.

Well that is 48 hours I will never get back of my life! What a waste of time, the site is so cumbersome and slow you’re ready to cancel you trip to India and book somewhere else completely!

Reading these reviews it’s clear that everyone else having same problems- can’t upload the passport photo! Contacted customer service, said it’s the browser or use a different device! I’ve tried three devices and two browsers! None of which worked! Come on! You must lose so much money because you can’t fix this issue!!!!! Fortunately found another company who were much more helpful and had a website that didn’t look and work like it was from 1998! Lol

Yes agree with comments about the…

Yes agree with comments about the supposedly legit Indian Govt e-visa site. It’s Byzantine and only gives you the residual of 30 days from application date once you’ve arrived. Also you remain liable for any errors even when granted so if you get one digit wrong on your passport (as I did) they reject it at the immi counter. The ‘admin’ fee clearly doesn’t even check the e-visa application against the passport photo. Bunch of clowns.

Helpdesk is as useful as a chocolate teapot

If only there was a way to give these lot a zero star – bar NONE, the worst service EVER provided by a so called government agency! It’s a moneymaking machine- there’s no way of talking to anyone- the so called “help desk “ number is not worth the telephone line it is occupying! And if any organisation is proof of pay peanuts get tree dwellers, this has to be it! The photo of the passport was “apparently ” blurred, so instead of notifying us to request a clearer copy, the application in it’s entirety was rejected and money guzzled! What a country- what a con! Now have to reapply, and pay again! IF India ever thinks it’s going to be joining the civilised world- rest of us have nothing to fret about- not when your first experience tells you all you need to know! China has nothing to worry about- at least for 5 decades 😡

Duplicate payment won’t be refunded

When applying for the visa the payment section said it failed and therefore I paid again.

I then noticed it actually took both payments from my account. When I provided evisa this information, they told me to go to axis bank. Axis bank sent me back to evisa.

No one will refund my money which they illegally obtained from me.

They have now stopped responding to my emails.

This is by far the worst service I have ever come across.

I literally have been robbed.

I am reluctant to give the E visa…

I am reluctant to give the E visa online even 1 star ! it is totally useless ! it will simply not let me pay…it asks for ID and DOB , then says its wrong, but strangely if I chase Visa status with exactly the same information it accepts it and tells me I need to pay !!!! If only I could….3rd application failed for the same reason…4th time lucky ??????
Dreadful website. !

Fast & Efficient! After reading everyone’s reviews about…

After reading everyone’s reviews about this website I was very nervous about using it but my husband went ahead anyway! The form was straightforward enough and downloading the 2 required photos was a bit awkward and not made particularly clear tha thr passport page needed to be PDF whereas the photo needed to be jpeg, then both needed to be resized etc. However his confirmation email came back in 24 hours. Mine was initially refused as they said the passport page wasn’t clear but when we checked for some reason the number was incomplete so my husband tweaked and resent it and mine was confirmed Monday morning (New Years Day) so all done over the holiday weekend as well. We thought it was, very efficient and only cost approx £21.00 each.

Poor service for Indian e-visaI found the whole experience extremely…

I found the whole experience extremely frustrating. I have spent 3 days repeatedly putting in the relevant information. They have taken my money but rejected every attempt.
I am going on a World cruise and the other visas I have completed and received with some difficulty but nothing like the Indian. I have reluctantly decided not to get off the ship in India along with many other passengers.

Indianvisaonline.gov.in is an useless…

Indianvisaonline.gov.in is an useless website which actually belongs to Indian Government. Tried 1500 times to apply visa for my minor but every single page of website end up with error. Website claims be aware from fake websites but the service getting from this website left no other option rather using one of those website which they claim fake.
Anyway we end up using indiansvisa.org.in and can’t believe how smooth and efficient for applying visitor visa for India but little expensive. We realised its worth it rather having trouble from Indianvisaonline.gov.in government site.

I got scammed and helping others so these cr**ks are exposed.

All the 5 stars you see there are fully morphed and its their own company creating those to attract more scams.

The hotline basically never answers

The hotline basically never answers. Don’t even try to call if you need help. We applied for our visa on time but got rejected because we “failed to respond to an email” that we never received. Why would we ignore anything in such an important process. We missed our flights and our entire vacation thanks to literally zero support.

Thieves and liars. Avoid!

Visas cancelled due to covid. At first said fees could be used for reapplication but then recently said they had refunded me.
No refund made, although the company lied and said they had sent refund. This is not an official Indian government website.

Such a worst customer service ever…

Such a worst customer service ever seen. Being an India, i feel ashamed of their pathetic service. No body to answer a call since 2 days, a they call these people as officers. If you really need foreign tourists to come to India, make sure the customer service is done effectively. Less than zero is the rating they should get.

Below are the analyze and conclusion of us about above reviews

Review 1 (Titti): This review expresses extreme dissatisfaction, stating the applicant was refused a visa with no clear explanation after paying and navigating a difficult application process. The user strongly advises against using the service, indicating a negative experience and a potential failure to deliver the promised service (visa approval). The lack of explanation for the refusal raises concerns about transparency and fairness.

Review 2 (JmB): This is a very strong negative review, labeling the service as a “sham” and “fake,” and claiming significant financial loss (3500 pounds) due to the inability to travel. The forceful language (“DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE WHATEVER YOU DO!”) suggests a high level of anger and a perceived fraudulent nature of the service. This review highlights a severe potential consequence of using the service.

Review 3 (Fishtail B): This review focuses on being charged twice for the visa application fee after a rejection due to an unclear document submission. The core complaint is the lack of an option to re-upload the corrected document without paying again. The reviewer expresses frustration with the lack of flexibility and the perceived unfairness of the process, suggesting a focus on revenue generation over customer service.

Review 4 (Tommy Buller): This review centers on website usability issues, describing it as “cumbersome and slow,” leading to frustration and potential trip cancellation. The inability to upload the passport photo despite trying multiple devices and browsers is a significant technical problem. The reviewer highlights the outdated appearance and functionality of the website, comparing it unfavorably to competitors and suggesting a loss of revenue due to these technical issues.

Review 5 (James Black): This review criticizes the Indian government’s e-visa site (or what the reviewer believes is the official site). It points out the limited visa validity period (30 days from arrival) and the user’s liability for errors, even after the visa is granted. The reviewer suggests a lack of thoroughness in the application review process (“admin fee doesn’t even check”), leading to potential rejection at immigration. The term “bunch of clowns” indicates a strong negative opinion of the service’s competence.

Review 6 (usha kapoor): This review expresses extreme frustration with the website, citing difficulties in submitting details and uploading required documents. The user’s strong negative emotions (“I CURSED…”) and the description of the site as the “WORST SITE” suggest a very poor user experience. The inability to complete the application process for themselves, their wife, and kids further underscores the severity of the problem.

Review 7 (Dee Sewell): This review strongly criticizes the customer service, calling it as useful as a “chocolate teapot” and a “moneymaking machine”. The core complaint is the rejection of the application due to a blurred passport photo, without a chance to resubmit. The reviewer alleges that instead, the application was rejected and the money was taken. There are claims of “pay peanuts get tree dwellers” and this visa site is a “con.” This review highlights concerns about the service’s responsiveness and fairness.

Review 8 (Zany Zara): This review details a duplicate payment issue, where the user was charged twice due to an error message but was unable to get a refund. The reviewer claims that the company has stopped responding to emails and that the money was “illegally obtained”. These claims describe the experience as being “robbed” and by far the “worst service”. This review raises serious concerns about the service’s payment processing and customer support.

Review 9 (Diana Cornelius): This review focuses on payment issues, stating the inability to complete the payment process despite multiple attempts. The website’s inconsistent behavior (accepting ID and DOB for visa status but rejecting it for payment) suggests a technical problem. The multiple failed applications and the description of the website as “Dreadful” indicate a very frustrating user experience.

Review 10 (Ruth Williams-ivor): This is the only positive review in the set. It highlights the efficiency of the process and the relatively low cost. However, it also acknowledges some awkwardness in the form and the need to resize photos, indicating that the process isn’t completely seamless. The reviewer received a confirmation email back within 24 hours, making this visa process efficient for the reviewer. It stands out from the other predominantly negative reviews.

Review 11 (Robin marsh): This review strongly criticizes the website’s usability and outdated design. The user expresses frustration and reluctance to visit India due to the negative experience with the visa application process. The reviewer considers the website a complete “mess” and suggests a lack of desire to attract visitors. The language is strong, indicating significant dissatisfaction with the service.

Review 12 (Alan Pilkington): This review echoes the frustration with the application process, stating that the user spent three days repeatedly entering information, only to have every attempt rejected after money was taken. The user has reluctantly decided not to get off the ship in India along with many other passengers, highlighting a significant negative impact on travel plans.

Review 13 (Malcolm Gunasingh): This is a short and very negative review, describing the process as “totally irritating” and the e-visa as “useless”. The user expresses a desire to give zero stars, indicating extreme dissatisfaction.

Review 14 (Palwinder Singh): This review criticizes the official Indian government website (indianvisaonline.gov.in), citing frequent errors and a difficult application process for a minor. The user ultimately resorted to using a third-party website (indiansvisa.org.in) for a smoother experience, despite the higher cost. This review suggests that the official website is unreliable and that alternative services, though potentially more expensive, offer a better user experience.

Review 15 (Karthik Reddy): This review labels a website as a “TOTAL SCAM,” advising users to only apply through the official Indian government website (indianvisaonline.gov.in). The reviewer warns against other sites, claiming that positive reviews are fabricated. This review directly alleges fraudulent activity and aims to expose these “cr**ks.” It is important to note that the reviewer states that they were scammed, but contradicts previous reviewers by claiming the government site is the only legitimate one.

Review 16 (Vladimir Schwegler): This review criticizes the lack of customer support, stating that the hotline is unresponsive. The reviewer claims to have missed flights and an entire vacation due to a visa rejection based on a missed email notification. The user felt there was “literally zero support” for the service.

Review 17 (Joe Coten): This review accuses the company of being “thieves and liars.” The user claims that visas cancelled due to COVID-19 were initially promised to be re-applicable, but were later denied a refund, despite the company claiming to have issued one. It is also stated that the reviewed website is not the official Indian government website.

Review 18 (Gopinath Menon): This review describes the customer service as the “worst ever seen,” even from an Indian perspective. The user reports difficulty contacting anyone for two days and expresses shame over the service’s ineffectiveness. The reviewer emphasizes the importance of effective customer service for attracting tourists.

Review 19 (Lili): This review states that a granted evisa was cancelled because of COVID-19, and they were denied a refund of the visa. The reviewer claims “thieves.”

Review 20 (Amit Arora): This review states the website is fake and the real website is indianvisaonline.gov.in

indianvisa.online likely a scam
